Before the Meeting:
-Make sure you have one device per voting member.
- Make sure your version of Zoom is up to date on your device.
- Make sure you know where the Congregational meeting link is on the church website.
To participate in the meeting all you need is a device with speakers (computer, tablet or phone) that can run a current version of the Zoom app. You do not need a camera or microphone.
New for this Meeting:
We are making some changes for a better and more accurate voting experience.
- Instead of using the raised hand feature to vote we will now be using the Zoom poll feature
- This allows for an accurate and instant count.
- Gives the possibility to vote without everyone in the room knowing how you voted.
- Also allows us to do the polls anonymously.
* For This Meeting both polls will be setup in anonymous mode.
So no one in the room, church staff/session or the
meeting hosts or co-hosts will know how you voted.
- During the voting times everyones camera and audio will be muted.
- Those calling in by phone will NOT be able to vote in the polls as it requires the Zoom App.
- If you would like to vote, it will be a public vote using the hand raised feature by dialing (*9)
