We have a great service lined up for this Sunday—you do want to participate by accessing our livestream service at 10AM. A quick reminder, though the service streams on our church Facebook page, you don’t need a Facebook account to access the service. However, if you don’t have a Facebook account, when you get to our Facebook page, pay attention to the “video” link on the left side of the screen. This is where you will find the service when it goes live, BUT you won’t see anything happening until you see LIVE appear in a red box next to the video link. When LIVE appears, click on the video link, and the service will stream on your device.  

This Sunday we’ll be sharing the Lord’s Supper together—remotely. Remember to have some type of bread and your choice of fruit of the vine on hand. Designate one person in your viewing circle to be the server, and when it comes time for the sacrament, I’ll lead you through the service.  

Next Sunday, the 10th, is Mother’s Day, and, we’re going to recognize moms during our livestream service, BUT we need your help to do this. Would you take a moment and create a short video clip (10-12 seconds) of your children answering the question: What do you love most about your Mom? If you’re using a phone, please film it in landscape (sideways), and then send the clip to . We need your clips by Wednesday evening of next week (5/6). Thanks!

Also, please remember the “Pack the Park 5K Your Way” event that begins today and runs through May 8. Registration for the event is open until Monday. This is an annual event that underwrites a great deal of the Friday Food Packs ministry our church offers to students in local schools who are experiencing food insecurity at home. In the past, this has been a 5K fun run, but that’s not possible this year. Instead, register for the event, then do the equivalent of a 5K fun run in whatever way you want—some form of exercise, either all at once, or spread out over a few days. Film it, and send the clip to our friends at packthepark.org, and you will have helped continue the great work Friday Food Packs is doing in our community. Thanks!
