New? Let’s Get Connected!
So, you’ve been checking out Lake Forest Park Church — maybe you’ve come a few Sundays, explored a bit online, or are just getting your feet wet. We’re so glad you’re here. Now it’s time to take the next step and get connected! Join Pastor Jeff, along with some of our staff and ministry leaders, for a casual meet and greet happening right after the service. This is a great opportunity to:
Hear more about the heart and mission of LFP Church
Learn about ways to get involved or find community
Ask questions and connect with people who can help
Enjoy some good conversation over coffee and snacks
When: Sunday, April 27 (right after the service)
Where: Heritage Hall
Discovering
LFP Church
Membership at LFPPC is an important step in your faith journey. It’s a way of saying, “This is my community. I care about what God is doing here, and I’m ready to be a part of it.” It’s a commitment to walk together in faith, and it opens the door to deeper opportunities for leadership and service — especially as we look for elders and deacons to help guide our church into the future.
If you’ve been attending for a while, we’d love for you to consider joining us for this New Member Class. There’s no obligation to become a member, but it’s a great chance to learn more about who we are, hear Pastor Jeff’s heart for our mission, and ask the questions that matter most to you. We’ll shape much of our time around your questions, so start thinking about what you’d like to know!
Lunch and childcare are available — just let us know your needs when you RSVP.
Women (The Sisterhood)
LFP MOM Co-Meetup
Join us for support, creative activities, and connection on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays (October-May) at 9:30-11:30am in Fellowship Hall. Learn more here.
Bible Studies
We have a variety of Bible study groups that meet at various times and locations.
Knitting Into The Mystery
This prayer shawl ministry provides handmade wraps for comfort during tough times. These shawls symbolize God's love and care.
Stone Soup Quilters
This group sews quilt tops from patterns and fabric from Stone Soup Ministries. The quilt top is then sent back, made into a quilt, and donated to hospitals.
Is it possible to live with joy, even in the midst of the negativity of the news cycle and the ups and downs of daily life? In one of the last books that Paul wrote before his death, we get a beautiful example of someone who learned how to choose joy, regardless of the circumstances.
Please join us as we look at the book of Philippians and seek fresh encouragement and guidance in learning how to receive the joy God has for us. All are welcome!
When: Sundays, April 27 - May 25 @ 9am
Where: Heritage Hall
