EMERGENCY PREPARDNESS

Posted on with 0 Comments

Concerns for safety and security have increased in our time. Incidents occurring in public places capture attention in our news cycles. Places that never had to worry about public safety in times past now have to consider contingency plans for the possibility of problems. One of these places is the church. Over the last few years, and as recently as last week, churches have found themselves having to respond to incidents never before anticipated. We have put safety procedures in place that ramp up safeguards in our children & youth ministries. Now we want to draw together a team of people for conversations that address broader safety and security concerns for our public services. We’re not recruiting security guards; right now we just want to dialogue about issues for which we should be concerned and brainstorm ideas for addressing them. If you would like to be part of this conversation, kindly let us know by calling the church office, or email Frank ( ). We’ll keep everyone in the loop on this issue.
