Some of you know that I have been attending graduate school, at Seattle University, for the last three years. I will be graduating this June with my master's in school counseling. I recently accepted a position to be a school counselor at a high school next fall, and because of this I will be stepping down as Youth Director here at LFPPC. I have had the honor and privilege of being your youth director for over eight years now. It has been such a joy in my life to work with the teens who have come through this church and to teach them about the love and the grace of our Lord. My life is filled with stories of trips, youth groups, special events, missions work, leaderships groups, and so much more. Making this decision to transition into the role of a school counselor is bitter sweet, but I know that this is the direction God has me heading. I want to say thank you to all of you. Whether you had kids who came through our program or not, everyone in this church has had a huge impact on my life over these years and I want you to know that.
My official last day at LFPPC will be Sunday, August 4. So there will be plenty of time to talk and share more life together. If I can encourage you in one thing it is to come up and talk to me in the weeks to come. I want to connect with people in these last few months, because that is my favorite thing about this job. I love connecting with God's people and sharing our stories. So please don’t be a stranger.
Thank you again,
